Our Story

Travis & Elizbeth Krone are both native to Beloit, KS. They married in 2003 & have five children.

Travis grew up in auto mechanics. His interest in fixing things was exceedingly early watching his dad at work. Travis remembers assembling a carburetor as his dad was needed elsewhere for a few moments. Travis wanted to prove his abilities to his dad. After he made his capable debut, he dove into many new projects expanding his skills well before the age of twenty. He worked for an auto mechanic shop in Hays, KS for a stent after high school while attending college. The shop owner told him he was not currently hiring help. Travis promised the man that he would go away if the guy would give him one day to prove himself for no pay! He was hired. Strong roots in Beloit brought him back. With access to open-source information & a determination to study complex systems, Travis has become a master mechanic building a resume of experience for over 25 years.

By chance, Elizabeth entered his life & has a bit of a resume herself. She grew up working on her family’s wheat & cattle farm just outside of Beloit. She was tasked with working in the machinist's shop on the farm where her dad, uncle, & granddad repaired machinery for people all over the state. She participated in serious work on GM diesel engines and operated a variety of machine tooling at the direction of her dad. After high school she acquired a major in Electronic Technology. A teacher at heart, she then taught electronic circuit fundamentals for 10 years at the technical college in Beloit. Now she tracks all the business accounting, assists Travis when needed, and has always been helpful to lend a technical understanding of applied electronics on equipment.

Becoming a dynamic team, their business has proven itself & grown immensely since 2009.

Currently TK MachineWorks, LLC is seeking ag techs and or diesel mechanics for hire.
